Description
Needing to work in seclusion, juxtaposed with the necessity of being seen, is an irony that Robin Hood, the painting and myself share.
Deep in the dark forest of my imagination is where the solitary hero is playing out his strange adventures.
Why are the adventures described as strange?
The answer is of course, that ordinary adventures have limitations; they are restrictive, leaving no space for the metaphysical or surreal to play a role in the narrative, or in its execution.
